Whether you are staying for dinner, overnight, a weekend or a week, be a gracious guest during the holiday season and come bearing gifts for your host.

In general, when it comes to gifts for your host or hostess, avoid anything too personal or too showy. Items for the home, specifically items that future guests may enjoy, are always good options. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
