Art of Dr. Seuss/ Ann Jackson Gallery: From Dec. 5 – 7, enjoy activities to herald the arrival of artworks from Theodor Seuss Geisel. Events are as follows:

  • Friday, Dec. 5, Noon – 9 p.m., public reception with 7 p.m. address by Bill Dreyer, Dr. Seuss Collection Curator
  • Saturday, Dec.  6, 2 – 4 p.m., live appearances by Cat In The Hat & The Grinch
  • Sunday, Dec. 7, noon – 5 p.m., live appearances by Cat In The Hat & The Grinch

Throughout his lifetime, Ted Geisel created paintings and sculpture which he secreted away at the Dr. Seuss Estate. This collection will be on exhibition and available for acquisition through Dec. 12 at Ann Jackson Gallery. 4th Annual Flavors and Colors of Haiti: On  Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. at the Rialto, the Consulate of Haiti presents a celebration of culture and dance with performances by AYIKODANS, Haiti’s premier contemporary dance company. Simon Malls “Spread Love” campaign: At Sugarloaf Mills, on Dec. 6 between 12 – 1:30 p.m., five randomly selected shoppers will get free Simon gift cards. In addition to receiving a $250 Simon gift card to keep, the lucky few will also get a $25 card to share and pay it forward.
