On Sunday, Solange Knowles married her long-time love at a ceremony in New Orleans.
Anyone familiar with the singer, artist, musician, Beyonce’s little sister, etc. already knows this since the event “broke the internet,” which is apparently the new standard for celebrity news these days.
In a break with tradition, everyone wore white to Solange’s wedding and the images, which turned up on Vogue.com and other sites, have been making the rounds.
The bride looked lovely in her Humberto Leon for Kenzo gown and stunned onlookers as she arrived for her wedding (by bike) wearing a cream-colored jumpsuit with a cape by designer Stephane Rolland.
Who knew wedding jumpsuits were the latest in bridal fashion? Thanks to Solange, I am now hip to this trend. Here’s how you can get the look for less:
David’s Bridal: This jumpsuit is available at David’s Bridal for $199. In Jan. 2015, they will introduce two additional styles, one with a draped neckline and the other strapless. Both have palazzo-style pant legs.
BCBG: The Zoee Layered jumpsuit is $268 is a good option for brides who want a more modest look.
Guess: The Rococa jumpsuit by Guess is $178.
