Coupon Mom: Restaurant coupons, save on cereal and baking needs

Dining coupons

Check the Nov. 9 RedPlum circular from last Sunday’s AJC to find valuable restaurant coupons. There are four coupons for Outback Restaurant including 15 percent off the entire dinner check, 15 percent off the entire lunch check, and a coupon for a free snack when you buy an entrée. There are also two coupons for Buca di Beppo for $10 off any purchase of $30 or more, and 10 percent off any catering or to-go order.

Save on cereal

General Mills: CVS has selected General Mills cereals (8.9 to 13 ounce) on sale for $2 each. Use the $1-off-three coupon from the Oct. 26 SmartSource to pay $1.67 each.

Post: Rite Aid has select Post cereals (11-20.5 ounce) on sale for $2.50 each. If you buy two boxes, you will get a $1 +UP Reward. If you also buy coffee, you can use the $2.50 coupon from the Oct. 5 SmartSource when you buy two boxes of Post cereal with coffee. Your net cost per box would be 75 cents each after the +UP Reward.

Kellogg’s: Walgreens has selected varieties of Kellogg’s cereal (8.7- to 13.7-ounce boxes) on sale for $1.99. Use the $1-off-three coupon from the Oct. 5 or Oct. 26 RedPlum to pay $1.66 per box. Use the $1-off-two coupon from the Nov. 2 RedPlum to pay $1.49 per box of Raisin Bran.

Get Baking

Baking season is coming, so expect to find baking coupons in the AJC coupon circulars. The Nov. 8 RedPlum has $1 off McCormick extracts or food colors, 55 cents off Diamond of California nuts, 40-cents off Fleishmann’s Yeast, 50 cents off Argo Corn Starch and 50 cents off Karo Syrups. There is also a $1 coupon off Simply Homemade Baking Mixes. This item has been spotted at some Dollar Tree locations, which means it would be free with the coupon. Dollar Tree stores do accept coupons.
