This weekend, catch a one time movie event when Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion shows on the big screen.
Star Wars Rebels, an animated series from Lucasfilm, is set five years before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. It tells how the rebellion began as the Evil Empire gained power over on the galaxy. The crew of rebels — cowboy Jedi Kanan, ace pilot Hera, street-smart teenager Ezra, the “muscle” Zeb, explosives expert Sabine, and cantankerous old astromech droid Chopper — are among the few brave enough to stand against the Empire.
The show debuts on Disney Channel (9 p.m. ET/PT) and Disney 😄 (9 p.m. ET/PT) October 3, but you can see it first for free on Sept. 27 beginning at 9 a.m. at Atlantic Station. This event begins with games and activities in the theater lobby. Kids are encouraged to come in costume for a chance to win prizes, but masks are not allowed. The film, which lasts for one hour, begins at 10:45 a.m. Plan to arrive early as the passes do not guarantee entry. Entry is granted on a first-come, first-served basis until the theater is full.
For the latest information on Star Wars Rebels, follow @DisneyChannelPR and @StarWars or Starwars.com.
I will award 10 winners with four passes each for the screening. Here’s how to enter:
- Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line: Star Wars
- In the body of the email, tell me your favorite Star Wars movie or TV Show
- Enter by 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
I will announce 10 randomly selected winners on Thursday and contact them via email with instructions to claim their passes.
Thanks in advance for entering!
